​Established in 1981, the Missouri and Kansas Invitational Tournament (MAKIT) is to serve as a catalyst to advance and promote: growth, development, outreach, and friendship of LGBTQIA+ bowlers and supporters across the region. MAKIT is dedicated to the promotion of amateur bowling for all persons regardless of any identity with an emphasis on the education and participation of members of the LGBTQIA+ community.  MAKIT will take an active leadership role in encouraging, mentoring, and developing LGBTQIA+ members of the community and fostering relationships with other like-minded organizations.
