The MAKIT Committee is proud to support our local community through charitable giving and volunteerism. A portion of the funds raised from the tournament will benefit our charity - Cornerstones of Care.
For over 150 years, Cornerstones of Care has responded to the needs of children and families in Kansas, Missouri and beyond. The agency is committed to supporting the needs of LGBTQAI+ youth, who are over-represented in foster care, in recruiting more welcoming and inclusive loving homes for queer youth, its transitional living program for teens aging out of foster care, in its pediatric health center, and in its youth education success program. Its mission, partnering for safe and healthy communities, is made possible thanks to the generous community support it receives from organizations like MAKIT.
